Every. Single. Day. Leaks up his back, down his legs, sideways somehow. We've tried size 2, we've tried different brands, we've tried the expensive ones. He's 8 weeks. Is this a formula sensitivity thing? Do his bowels eventually calm down? I'm so tired of doing laundry.
The diaper brand actually matters way more than people think. Pampers swaddlers worked for us when Huggies was a complete disaster. Could also be the poop consistency if he's eating something new.
We dealt with this for weeks. Turns out our son had a dairy sensitivity and the diarrhea was the culprit. Once we cut out the formula with dairy it got so much better. Might be worth looking at what he's eating too.
Pampers Swaddlers size 2 here and we've had the same issue. Actually considering trying one size up even though he's not quite there weight wise because the blowouts are so frequent.
Size 2 was actually too big for our guy at that age. We went back to size 1 even though he was supposedly too heavy for it, and the blowouts stopped immediately. Might be worth trying a smaller size even if the weight chart says otherwise.
Are you pulling the back waistband all the way up? I was being lazy and not adjusting it properly. Once I made sure the whole back was snug it cut down the incidents by like 80 percent.

Honestly man every kid seems to have this phase and then it just stops. We thought we were doing something wrong but our pediatrician said it's just how their system works at that age sometimes. Does help to do changes over the sink or bathroom to minimize damage.
