My wife and I haven't slept in 48 hours

Our son is 4 days old and we're completely wrecked. He wants to eat every hour and we're tag teaming but I don't think either of us has slept more than 20 minutes at a time. When does this get better? I love him but I'm running on fumes.

I'm right there with you on the sleep deprivation. Once he hits a week or two old the feeding schedule starts spreading out a bit. Survive these first days however you can.

Dude, 48 hours with a 4 day old is brutal. The hourly feeding phase is real but it does pass. Try to take shifts so at least one of you gets some actual sleep.
