Newborn won't take a pacifier

We've tried like 6 different brands. Mam, Philips, Tommee Tippee, the cheap ones from the hospital. My daughter is 4 weeks old and just spits them all out instantly. Seems like she'd be soothed by one but I'm not forcing it. Should I keep trying or just accept that she doesn't want one?

Our newborn was the same way. Tried everything and she just refused them all. Honestly she grew out of needing it around 6 months anyway so maybe just let it go?

Have you asked your pediatrician? Mine suggested we weren't offering it at the right time in his feeding cycle and that made all the difference.

Some babies just don't want them. Have you tried the Nanobebe ones? They're pricey but shaped differently and my second kid finally took one.

What size are you using? Sometimes it's just that the size is wrong and they reject it. Try the newborn size if you haven't already.

Don't stress too hard about this. Not every baby takes a pacifier and that's totally normal. Your kid will be fine without one.
