Paternity leave ending soon and I'm not ready

I've had 6 weeks with my newborn daughter and I'm absolutely dreading going back to work next week. The thought of missing her first smiles and milestones is killing me. My boss has been cool but I can't stay home forever. Does it get easier or am I just gonna be sad and distracted at work for the next year?
