PSA: Owlet Smart Sock is actually worth it (hear me out)

I know some people think these are overkill and the fear-mongering is real, but after our 3-month-old had a weird choking moment that turned out to be nothing, getting the Owlet gave me actual peace of mind. Yes it's expensive ($299) but I can sleep now. Not well obviously because newborn, but better. We went from me getting up 8-10 times a night to check if he's breathing to maybe 2-3 times. YMMV but if anxiety is your thing like it is for me, might be worth the investment.
