Sleep deprivation is no joke

Week 3 with my daughter and I honestly can't remember the last time I slept more than 45 minutes straight. I fell asleep standing up in the shower yesterday. My boss asked why I'm making mistakes at work and I almost started crying at my desk which has never happened to me. Does this get better or do I just accept that sleep is gone forever now?
