Switching from formula to breast milk, is there a trick to getting my baby to take the bottle?
My wife is back to work part time and we're trying to introduce bottle feeding so I can help more. Our 3 month old absolutely refuses the bottle. We've tried different nipple types, warming it, cooling it, everything. He acts like we're trying to poison him. We're using pumped breast milk so it's not a taste thing. Anyone dealt with this? How did you get your baby to accept a bottle? My wife is stressing about it and I want to actually be helpful here instead of just being the guy who watches him cry while she figures it out.
Brand new dad here so I'm still learning myself but I've read that some babies are just picky about bottles at first. Maybe try a few different styles? Seems like patience is key which I know is tough when you're ready to step up and help.
