The fourth trimester is real and nobody told me

Our son is 8 weeks old and things are finally getting a little easier but week 2-6 were absolutely brutal. The crying, the not sleeping, the feeling like we're doing everything wrong. I thought once he got home from the hospital we'd kind of have it figured out but man that was naive. Just want to say to the other guys out here with newborns that it gets better. We're not out of the woods yet but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now. If you're in the thick of it right now just know it's temporary.

Bath time at our house was peak chaos for the first few months too, everything feels like a production at that stage. You're doing great just getting through it, hang in there.

Those first 6 weeks are brutal, I remember thinking something was wrong with us because it was so hard. Glad you're on the other side of it now - it really does get better from here.

Week 2-6 is the real test, you made it through the gauntlet. Every night light I've bought since has felt like a victory honestly.
