My wife went to get her hair done today and I stayed home with our 6-week-old. Took him to Whole Foods. He ate, didn't cry, didn't explode, we were fine. I know this is normal for most parents but I've been terrified of taking him anywhere alone and today I just... did it. Not a big deal to anyone else but I'm feeling slightly less incompetent.
