Tummy time went from 0 to 100 real quick

So we started tummy time with our 2 month old today and I swear he went from happy to absolutely furious in like 10 seconds. His face got all red and he started screaming. We only lasted 2 minutes before I felt bad and flipped him back over. Is it supposed to be this awful or are we doing something wrong?

Two months is still so early for tummy time tolerance. Our pediatrician said don't stress too much about it at that age. They'll get stronger and less grumpy about it in a few weeks.

Haha welcome to the tummy time struggle. Our little guy does the exact same thing. I read somewhere that some babies just hate being on their stomach at first. It gets better I promise.

Dude tummy time was rough with our baby too. We found that if we did it right after a feed when he was in a good mood it went a lot better. Also shorter sessions more often instead of one long one helped us.
