My boy is 2 months and rolls over sometimes and we got a smile but my buddy's kid same age is rolling consistently and doing way more. I know I shouldn't compare but is my kid on track? Pediatrician says he's fine but man it gets in your head. First time parent anxiety is real. Anyone else deal with this?
Don't stress too much about the comparison game. Every kid is different and honestly the fact that he's smiling at 2 months is solid. Some kids roll earlier some kids do it later. Your buddy's probably just bragging anyway.
Dude at 2 months you're basically in survival mode anyway, just focus on keeping him fed and loved. The rolling and smiles are great, that's what matters right now.
Every kid develops at their own pace man, my oldest rolled late too but caught up quick. Two months is still super early, sounds like your boy is doing just fine.
Yeah don't sweat it yet. My little one was slower on some things than my buddy's kids but honestly by like 6 months you couldn't tell the difference. They all get there.
Man, every baby is different. My oldest was rolling at like 6 weeks and my second didn't do it till 4 months. Both totally normal. The smile is huge though, that's what matters. Don't compare too hard or you'll drive yourself crazy.

Yeah don't worry about this. Milestones happen in windows not on exact timelines. As long as your pediatrician says he's good you're golden. All that matters is he's healthy and growing.

Two months is still so early man. My daughter just turned 3 months and she's finally being more consistent with her stuff. Smiling and some rolling is great for that age. The pediatrician would tell you he's right on track.
