This is gonna sound cheesy but I don't care. Our son is 8 weeks old and seeing her with him, the way she responds to his needs, how patient she is even when she's exhausted... it's different. It's attractive in a way I wasn't expecting. We're not intimate yet (her choice, totally fine) but emotionally I feel closer to her than I have in years. Thought I'd share something positive for once

Not cheesy at all man. That postpartum glow phase where she's in full mom mode is something else. I had the exact same realization around 10 weeks with my daughter. You're seeing her in a completely different light.

I get this completely. Watching my wife handle the night feedings and comfort our newborn while running on zero sleep somehow made me respect her even more. 8 weeks in you're probably still in the trenches though lol.

Dude this is beautiful. My wife and I actually reconnected more after our son was born than we did before. Something about seeing her as a parent just hits different.
