We're bringing baby home tomorrow, I'm terrified
Everything is ready. The crib is set up, we have supplies, the car seat is installed. But I'm freaking out. What if I drop him? What if he cries and I can't figure out why? What if I'm not cut out for this? I know these are normal dad fears but man, it feels real right now. Any last minute advice or reassurance?
Being terrified is actually the right response honestly. Means you understand the responsibility. Just remember that babies are tougher than they look and you don't have to have it all figured out immediately. Those first few weeks are mostly just surviving.
