When did bottle feeding get so confusing?

There are like 50 different bottle brands now and every parent on Instagram swears their one is the best. Anti-colic this, vented that, slow flow vs medium flow. We just grabbed what was on sale and it works fine? Am I missing something here or is this marketing overload. Our son eats, gets full, falls asleep. That's the whole goal right?

Instagram parenting is a trap. Just pick one, see if your baby likes it, and move on. They all basically do the same thing.

The anti-colic, temperature sensing, ergonomic bottles are wild. We're using plain old Tommee Tippee bottles and our son is thriving. Don't overthink it.

Right? I spent three hours comparing bottles last month like I was shopping for a car. We ended up with what our hospital recommended and called it good.
