When did you feel like an actual dad?
Just got back from the pediatrician with my newborn and I realized I've got a whole notebook of questions written down, I know what percentile she's in, and I actually understand what they mean by wet diapers as a feeding indicator. When did this happen? A month ago I didn't even know how to properly support her head. Feeling kind of proud right now not gonna lie.
The notebook thing is great but honestly it gets easier. My kids are 4 months and almost 2 now and I still write stuff down but I've learned the pediatrician has heard it all before. You're doing it right though, asking questions beats guessing.
