When did you feel the bonding moment everyone talks about?

My son is 3 weeks old and honestly I still feel kind of disconnected from him. Everyone keeps asking if I'm in love with him and I'm like yeah sure but mostly I just see him as this tiny screaming potato that poops a lot. My wife says it took her a while too so maybe I'm not broken but I'm starting to wonder when this magical dad feeling kicks in. Anyone else?

Dude I felt kind of numb at first too honestly. Give it time, it sneaks up on you when you least expect it.

Three weeks is still super early man, you're not alone in feeling that. The connection builds slowly sometimes and that's totally normal.
