When did you guys start doing baby classes?

We keep getting emails about infant yoga, baby music classes, and mommy and me swim lessons. My wife wants to do some of these but I'm skeptical about dropping $80 on a 30 minute baby class where the kid doesn't even know what's happening. When do babies actually start getting something out of these things? Or is it more for the parents to get out of the house?
