When did your baby start smiling and interacting
Our son is 6 weeks and I think he might have smiled at me but it could have been gas. Everyone says wait til they actually smile at you and it changes everything. I'm impatient lol. How long did it take for yours to actually respond to you? Looking forward to this part because right now it's mostly just feeding and changing and not a ton of connection yet.
Real talk: at 6 weeks it's basically all gas and reflexes. Real social smiling usually starts around 8-10 weeks when they actually track your face. I know that's not what you want to hear but at least you have something to look forward to.
Every smile at that age feels earth-shattering though, even if it's just gas. Soak it in. Before you know it they're smiling back and it's actually insane.
