When did your baby start smiling back?

My daughter is 6 weeks old and I keep making faces at her hoping shell smile at me instead of just pooping on everything. My wife says it takes a few more weeks for real smiles but I swear I saw one yesterday. Am I just being a delusional new dad or does this sound right timeline wise?
