When did your baby start smiling on purpose?

My 6 week old has been doing these little smiles and I honestly can't tell if it's a real smile or just gas. Everyone says it's gas but I want to believe my kid is already the happiest baby on earth. What age did you guys see intentional smiling? I need this to be real.
