Why is everyone so judgy about bottle feeding?
Okay rant incoming. My wife had complications after birth so we went to formula pretty early. I've gotten MULTIPLE comments from family members about it being "such a shame," people suggesting she didn't try hard enough, and even some weird guilt-tripping about "bonding."
My kid is thriving. Fed is fed. My wife's mental health is stable. But apparently that's controversial?
I don't get why this is still such a thing. She's literally feeding our child nutrients they need. That's the job.
The "such a shame" comments are so outdated. Fed is best, and if your wife had complications, formula wasn't a compromise—it was the right call. Anyone giving you grief needs to zip it. Your kid is thriving and that's what matters.
