This is driving me insane. My daughter took bottles fine for the first 3 months. Now she just screams and turns her head away. My wife is back at work part-time and I need to be able to feed her. We've tried different bottles, different temperatures, different times of day. Nothing works. Has anyone dealt with this? Is this bottle aversion or something worse?
Mine did this exact thing around month 4. Turned out she wanted to feed more frequently but for shorter periods. We started offering bottles more often and she stopped fighting us. Could also be that the bottle nipple flow changed as she got older and stronger?
Check if the bottle is too hot or too cold. My son went through a phase where he was super picky about temperature. Also try different bottle nipples, some babies get finicky about the size or shape.
Have you tried switching brands? I know it sounds weird but my daughter rejected Tommee Tippee bottles for no reason and would only take Mam after month 3. Sometimes they just change their preferences I guess.
Have you considered she might be teething early? Swollen gums can make them not want to suck on bottle nipples. You could try gently rubbing her gums with a clean finger.

This sounds like it could be reflux or the start of reflux. My daughter started doing this and it turned out milk was coming up. Might be worth checking with your pediatrician if it keeps happening.
