Anyone else dealing with deck rot? Thinking about replacing boards

My back deck is about 12 years old and some of the boards near the foundation are starting to show soft spots. I know I should replace them before it gets worse. Never done this before though. Can I just jack up the deck and swap out a few boards at a time or do I need to take the whole thing apart? Also, should I go with treated lumber or composite? Budget is probably around $500-600. Any advice would help.

12 years is pretty solid for a deck. If it's just the boards near the foundation getting soft, you might be able to get away with replacing just those sections instead of the whole thing, which could save some cash.
