Anyone else obsessed with cast iron cooking when camping?

Just got back from a camping trip where I brought my old Lodge cast iron and made literally everything in it - breakfast hash, burgers, cobbler for dessert. There's something about cooking over a fire in cast iron that just hits different. My kids were more interested in the food this time than their phones. Definitely recommend if you haven't tried it.

This is the way. Cast iron over an open flame is peak dad cooking. My Lodge skillet is probably the best investment I've made for family trips. Did you do any bread or mostly main dishes?
How long have you had that Lodge? I just got mine seasoned properly and I'm obsessed. Nothing beats cooking outside with the right equipment.
