Got really into cast iron cooking during lockdown and now I'm that guy. Made a 20 inch skillet pizza last Saturday with the kids helping make the dough. Nothing tastes as good as stuff cooked in cast iron. My wife says I need to chill but I'm already planning to get a bigger skillet for next month.
20 inch skillet pizza hits different. I got into cast iron too and now my wife jokes that I talk about seasoning more than I talk about actual food. Worth it though.
Cast iron is the best. My 4 year old loves watching stuff sizzle in the pan and thinking he's helping. You're building some solid memories with those kids getting their hands in the dough.

The lockdown cast iron obsession was real. How long did it take you to get your seasoning dialed in? I still have some spots where stuff sticks.
Cast iron for pizza is the move. Do you cook it in the oven or on the grill? I've been experimenting and still haven't nailed the crust.
