Anyone else's kids reject their meal prep?

Made a whole sheet pan chicken and roasted veggie situation for lunches this week. Took me like an hour. My 6 year old took one bite and asked if he could have cereal instead. Wife thinks it's hilarious. Do your kids actually eat the stuff you make or am I just spinning my wheels here?
