Anyone's kids obsessed with bike riding lately?

Both my boys (7 and 9) are suddenly obsessed with their bikes. Like we can barely keep them off them. We've been doing little neighborhood rides and they want to do it EVERY day now. Is this just a phase? Should I lean into it or is this setting them up to burn out? Also considering getting them some light gear but don't want to jinx the enthusiasm with Too Much Gear
