Saw them at Target, looks kind of fun but also kind of gimmicky? My 7yo is interested but I don't want to waste money on something he'll use twice. Reviews are mixed online. Real talk - does it hold their attention?
We got one for my 7yo's birthday. Honestly it was fun for like a week and now it sits in the closet. The foam rockets get lost constantly too which is annoying.
Not worth full price but if you see it on sale it's decent for a rainy afternoon activity. The setup is kind of cool and at least it gets them outside.
My kids love ours but they need an adult to launch it with them most of the time. So it's not really a toy where he'll entertain himself if that's what you're hoping for.
The reviews I read mentioned the pump breaks pretty easily after a few months. Might want to check the warranty before you buy.

Get it if he's into that stuff but be prepared to launch foam rockets in your backyard roughly a million times a day. If that sounds fun to you then go for it.
