Attempting sourdough for the first time and I'm in too deep

Started a starter two weeks ago and now I'm checking it like three times a day. Watched like 10 YouTube videos. My wife thinks I'm crazy but I'm determined to nail the first loaf this weekend. Anyone else obsess over their first baking project or is that just me?

Ha, sourdough obsession hits different when you commit to it. The three times a day thing is totally normal, just wait till your first loaf turns out amazing and you'll be hooked forever.

Getting lost in a project like this is great, honestly. Between work and the kids I barely have time for hobbies anymore, so when you find something that grabs you like sourdough, just lean into it.
