Built one this past weekend with stuff we already had:
Kids (7, 10, 11) are OBSESSED. Literally set up a "competition" and keep trying to beat their times. Cost me like $15 for the cones. Way better than sitting inside.
This is the kind of content I come here for. Bet your kids had way more fun building it with you than they would playing on some plastic thing from the store anyway.
This is awesome. We did something similar last month with PVC pipes and some old tires. The kids were obsessed for like two weeks straight. Way better than dropping hundreds on those prefab obstacle course kits.
Did you duct tape the pool noodles directly to the trees or did you use some kind of frame? Asking because I'm worried about damaging our trees if I go this route.
Love the budget-friendly approach. Our backyard is looking sad and I've been hesitant to spend big money. Do you have pics of the full setup? Would love to see what else you incorporated.

Pool noodles are criminally underrated for this stuff. We've made everything from balance beams to javelin throws with them. Plus they're like five bucks.
