My 6yo wouldn't shut up about it at Target so I caved. Tbh it's actually pretty fun? We spent 90 minutes in the backyard yesterday launching foam rockets and he was engaged the whole time. No screen time needed. It's bulky to store but if it keeps him occupied on weekends, worth the $25. Anyone else have recommendations for toys that don't require batteries and actually hold attention?
Wait 90 minutes? That's impressive for a 6yo. Mine gets bored with stuff in like 15 minutes then it sits in the corner for a month.
Stomp Rocket is legit. The fact that you're both having fun with it is the real win here. Don't let the budget guilt get you down, your kid will remember those 90 minutes way more than another toy.
The foam rockets are actually replaceable and pretty cheap which is nice. Good call on this one, way better than those plastic things that break immediately.
