Building a treehouse with leftover lumber

Got about 400 board feet of cedar from a job site that was just gonna be trash. Started framing it out on Saturday and my 7 year old is absolutely losing his mind watching it take shape. Haven't figured out the roof situation yet but thinking heavy tarps stretched over a frame. Anyone built one of these before? Safety is my main concern so I wanna do this right.

Cedar is perfect for that. No rot issues down the line. You planning railings?
