Building a treehouse with my 8yo this summer
Started this project last month and we're about halfway done. It's nothing fancy, like 8 feet up in the oak tree in our backyard. We're learning as we go, watching YouTube videos, hitting Home Depot every Saturday morning. My son feels like he's actually building something instead of just watching dad work. He's designed most of it, picked out the paint color, and it's teaching him real skills. Pretty sure this is gonna be a core memory for him.
Eight feet high seems smart but also makes me nervous. What kind of safety setup are you running? Railings and all that?
