Building a treehouse with my boys this summer

Started planning it out last week and we're doing it. I found some YouTube videos on how to do it safely and I'm actually excited about a project for once. Got the lumber list ready and my brother said he'd help. My kids think it's the coolest thing ever already just seeing the plans. Anyone else built one of these? Any tips or things to watch out for? Planning to start in June.
