Got the plans printed out and a list of supplies ready to hit Home Depot this weekend. Been watching videos and I think I can actually pull this off. My 10 and 12 year old are so hyped. This is going to be a whole thing. Has anyone here built one before? Any tips on making it safe but still cool enough that they don't think it's lame?

Treehouse projects are the best. My kids still talk about the one we built three years ago. Getting the supplies this weekend sounds like a solid plan. Safety first though with the nails and power tools around them.
Oh man we're doing something similar this spring. How old are your kids? That affects what you can actually let them help with vs supervise.
