Built a raised garden bed with my 7 year old

Spent Saturday morning building a 4x8 raised bed in the backyard with my son. He wanted to grow tomatoes so we made it happen. He hammered in half the nails himself even though it took forever. We got it filled with soil and planted the seedlings. Seeing him get excited about watching it grow has been worth every minute. Definitely doing this again next year.

That's awesome! My son is almost at that age and I'm counting down the days until we can do stuff like this together. The fact that he hammered in half the nails himself makes it even cooler.
