Built a raised garden bed with my 8 year old

Kid wanted to grow tomatoes and strawberries. Spent a Saturday building the bed and another planting stuff. He's actually checking on it every day, watering without being asked. Already talking about next year and wanting to try carrots and lettuce. I think we've accidentally created a little gardener. Way cheaper than therapy and the dude is genuinely learning about patience and where food comes from. Highly recommend if you've got the space.
