Built a skateboard ramp in the driveway AMA
Spent like $150 and a Saturday building a 4ft quarter pipe with my 11yo. Used PVC and plywood mostly because I wanted it cheap and moveable. He's been obsessed with skating and wanted a ramp. It's not perfect but it's solid and he can actually land tricks on it now. Took some YouTube tutorials and honestly once you get the basic geometry down it's not that hard. Happy to answer questions if anyone wants to try it.
The $150 budget is wild. What was your biggest expense? Plywood or the PVC fittings? Thinking about doing this for my nephew
