Built a treehouse with my 6yo and it actually didn't collapse

So I said I'd build a treehouse before summer and honestly I thought it would be one of those things I never get around to. But last Saturday we went to Home Depot, grabbed some 2x8s and a bunch of bolts, and just went for it. My son was my "foreman" and kept telling me I was doing it wrong lol. It's pretty basic, maybe 8 feet up in the oak tree, but it's solid and he's been out there every day since. Best weekend project I've done in years.

That's awesome man, seriously. I've got a 6yo and he'd lose his mind over something like that. Makes me want to tackle a project instead of just thinking about it for the next three months.

This is the kind of stuff they remember forever. Nice work actually following through, a lot of us talk about projects and never start them. Your kid's going to be bragging about this at school.
