Built a treehouse with my 7 year old and it's actually amazing
Spent the last month planning and building a treehouse in our oak tree with my son helping every step of the way. We bought the hardware kit online but he did most of the sawing and hammering with supervision. Last Saturday we had the grand opening and watching his face when he climbed up there and realized he helped build it? Man, that's the good stuff right there. If you're thinking about doing a project with your kid, do it. The quality time alone is worth it.
This is so cool. I want to do something like this with my son but I'm genuinely intimidated by the building part. Did you have any experience before or just learned as you went? Every step sounds like it created an actual memory with him.
