Built a treehouse with my 7yo and it only took 3 trips to Home Depot
Finally finished the treehouse project we started last month. Kid wanted a "secret base" so I grabbed some 2x6s, deck screws, and safety rope. First trip forgot the lag bolts. Second trip got the wrong size rope. Third trip because I miscalculated the platform dimensions by about 8 inches. But man, when we got up there yesterday and he saw the whole thing was done, that look on his face made every trip worth it. Still need to add railings but we're calling it complete enough for now.
Only three trips is actually impressive. I would've been back there seven times minimum. How'd you handle the design part? My son wants something similar but I'm terrified of the structural integrity.
