Built a treehouse with my 7yo and it's actually solid

We spent the last 3 weekends building this thing in our backyard using 2x8s and some old pallet wood for the platform. My son was convinced we were gonna die the whole time lol but now he won't come down. We used a rope ladder (which was terrifying to test) and he's been up there every day after school. Cost us about $340 total which honestly seemed reasonable. The weird part is now my 5yo daughter wants one too but I'm like... we're not doing this twice 😅

This is legit one of the coolest things you can do with your kid. My dad built one with me when I was that age and I still remember every detail - the rope ladder, the pulley system, everything. Your son's gonna carry this memory forever man
