Built a treehouse with my 8yo and it actually didn't collapse

Spent all last Saturday with my son building this treehouse in our backyard oak tree. We used scrap wood from my dad's garage and some old rope. Kid was so proud when we finally got the platform level. We're planning to add a rope ladder next weekend. Best $0 spent ever lol

That's incredible dude, seriously. The fact that your son helped build it and it's still standing is a huge win. Those memories with him will last way longer than the treehouse itself.

This is the kind of thing I want to do when my kid gets older. Using your dad's scrap wood and old rope makes it even cooler, like three generations of dads building something together.
