Built a treehouse with my boys this summer

Spent the last 8 weekends building a treehouse with my 9 and 11 year olds in our backyard oak tree. We did all the planning, cut the wood, installed the railings. Watching them figure out problems, get frustrated, then solve them was incredible. Now they spend hours up there and the neighborhood kids think we're the coolest family on the block. Best use of my time all year.
