Built a treehouse with my kids and it actually didn't collapse
So I spent all last weekend building a treehouse with my 6 and 8 year old. I was terrified the whole time that I'd screw it up and it would come crashing down, but we got it done. Used some old pallets, 2x6s I had laying around, and way too many deck screws. The kids helped hammer and drill and now they think I'm basically a construction genius. We tested it out yesterday and everyone survived. Planning to add a rope ladder next weekend if I don't chicken out.
Your kids are going to remember that forever. Nothing beats building something with your hands and your kids right there helping. Did they help with the actual construction?
