Built a treehouse with my kids this weekend and it actually didn't collapse
So I decided to surprise the kids with a treehouse project. Spent all of Saturday and Sunday in the backyard with some 2x6s, a drill, and YouTube University as my guide. My wife thought I was insane but honestly it turned out pretty solid. Got it about 8 feet up in the oak tree, added a rope ladder and everything. Kids won't stop playing in it. Back is absolutely destroyed but worth it.
Dude that's so cool. I've been thinking about doing something like this but I'm honestly a little nervous about the safety part. What kind of support system did you set up?
Best part about parent-built treehouses is they become legendary in the neighborhood. All the other kids are gonna be jealous.
