Built a treehouse with my kids this weekend and it's actually standing

So I had this crazy idea to build a treehouse with my 7 and 9 year old. Spent all day Saturday and Sunday getting materials from Home Depot, cutting wood, and nailing everything together. My wife thought I was insane but honestly it turned out way better than expected. Used 2x8 boards for the platform and bolted it really securely into the oak tree. The kids helped with most of the railings and they're already up there with their friends. Just wanted to say if you're thinking about it, go for it. Just make sure your bolts are solid lol

Okay this is legit impressive. Most people say they're gonna do stuff like this with their kids and never actually follow through. The fact that it's ACTUALLY standing is even better. How high did you go?
