Built a treehouse with my kids this weekend and it's actually holding up

Started this project like 3 weeks ago after my 6 year old wouldn't stop asking for one. Got some 2x8s, lag bolts, and watched way too many YouTube videos. My 9 year old helped me measure stuff and my wife thought I was crazy but we actually finished it. It's pretty solid, passed the jump test, and the kids have been in there for like 6 hours straight. Honestly might be the best weekend I've had in years.

That's incredible dude. My kids would lose their minds over a treehouse. Sounds like you did your homework on the build too, which matters when safety is on the line.
