Camping trip gone sideways with 4 kids under 7
Took the crew camping in the state forest about an hour away. Looked great on the map but turned out to be more of a test of patience than a relaxing getaway. One kid got sick, it rained harder than expected, and the cooler somehow fell in the creek. But here's the thing - we made it work, the kids laughed about everything going wrong, and by the end they wanted to do it again. That's a win in my book even though my tent smells like wet dog now.
State forest camping with that many little ones sounds like an adventure and a half. Please tell us everything. I'm guessing at least one kid refused to use the bathroom situation in nature?
