Camping trip went way better than expected

Took my family camping for the first time last weekend. I was stressed about keeping a 4 year old and 7 year old entertained in the woods but honestly they just ran around like feral animals the whole time and it was great. Made hot dogs over the fire, told ghost stories, watched them roast marshmallows. No screens, no complaints. We're doing this again next month for sure. Anyone have good camping tips for young kids?

Dude, nice! Those early camping trips are memory makers. Did you do any fishing or just hiking and campfire stuff? My kids that age loved roasting marshmallows way more than I expected.
